Kornuth, Aldridge Among Three to Bust on Bubble; Each Get $2,005 Rebate

There were three all-ins and calls on the soft bubble, as 187 players remained.

The first all-in and call saw:

Chance Kornuth had around 194,000 and opened to 20,000 from the cutoff before Jared Ingles jammed the big stack on the button.

Kornuth went deep into the tank, waiting for the other tables to finish up. After it was determined that he was the last active player, he put in the last of his chips.

Kornuth remained ahead on the K♣Q♦4♥ flop and 6♦ turn. However, Ingles found his three-outer on the 9♣ river to eliminate Kornuth.

The second hand occurred when Ioannis Angelou-Konstas raised preflop to 20,000, and the player on the button three-bet all in for 86,000. Angelou-Konstas made the call.

The board ran out 10♠3♥4♠J♥J♦, and Angelou-Konstas won with the trips.

The third bust out happened when Jack Sinclair raised to 20,000 from the cutoff, and Ken Aldridge moved all in from the small blind for 74,000. After getting a count from the dealer, Sinclair called to put Aldrige at risk on the bubble.

The flop of Q♣4♥5♣ looked safe for Aldridge’s ladies. However, the 3♥ turn offered up a potential backdoor wheel for Sinclair. The disastrous 2♣ came on the river, meaning Aldridge had been eliminated on the bubble.

However, as Kornuth and a player had busted alongside Aldridge, the three players shared a $6,015 min-cash between them, providing a small rebate.
