Welcome back to PokerNews, the official media partner of the 2024 World Series of Poker and home of live updates from all bracelet events.

Today sees the kickoff for Event #30: $600 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha (8-Handed) here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. The event starts at 10 a.m. local time with 30-minute levels. There will be a 20-minute break every four levels and a 75-minute dinner break after Level 16 (about 7:00 p.m. local time).

Starting stacks are 30,000 and players may reenter twice, provided they do so before the end of late registration at completion of Level 12 (approximately 5 p.m. local time).

Day 1 is set to end after Level 22 and Day 2 will resume at 11 a.m. on July 12 with 30-minute blind levels. Day 2 will be the final day, with play continuing until a winner is declared.

Last year's edition of this event went to Scott Dulaney, who beat out a field of 2,758 entries to win his first bracelet and $194,155 of the $1,406,580 prize pool.

“I’m really excited, kinda reeling at the moment,” Dulaney said afterward. “But I knew it was gonna happen and I plan on winning multiple Omaha bracelets this week, this year. I think all the best Omaha players in the world come from Houston and I’m trying to prove it this summer.”
