Glaser's Eight-Perfect Goes Down in Flames
Danny Wong opened from under the gun and received a call from Jason Mercier in the small blind before Benny Glaser three-bet in the big blind. Both Wong and Mercier made the call. Mercier drew two, Glaser stood pat and Wong drew two.
After the first draw Mercier checked, Glaser bet, and both Wong and Mercier made the call. Mercier and Wong took one each while Glaser stood pat.
Glaser bet again when checked to after the second draw. Wong and Mercier called once more and drew one each while Glaser stood pat again.
With no draws remaining action checked around to Wong who bet. Mercier folded and Glaser made the call.
Glaser had eight perfect with 8x5x4x3x2x but Wong had pulled ahead on the final draw with 7x6x4x3x2x for number two to take a huge pot leaving Glaser with just over three big bets.
