Jason Mercier opened from under the gun and Steve Zolotow, who started the hand with 175,000 three-bet from the small blind. Mercier made the call and drew two while Zolotow drew one.

After the first draw Zolotow bet, Mercier raised and Zolow three-bet to commit the rest of his stack. Mercier made the call.

Both players stood pat for the final two draws. Zolotow had en eight-seven with 8x7x5x4x3x but Mercier had eight-six smooth with 8x6x4x3x2x to end Zolotow's deep run in ninth place.
