Dirksen Shows Glaser Some Respect

Level 12 : Limits 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

Dustin Dirksen raised in the hijack, Benny Glaser called on the button, and Nacho Barbero came along from the big blind.

"I can't beat broke Nacho. I can beat rich Nacho. That's why you don't win tournaments any more, you're too rich," Dirksen said to Barbero as he took one. Barbero drew three and Glaser two.

Dirksen bet and Glaser raised. Barbero folded and Dirksen called.

Dirksen drew one and Glaser stood pat and bet. Dirksen called and both players patted.

Glaser then bet again and Dirksen called. Glaser showed 8x5x4x3x2x. "I had eight-six," Dirksen said as he mucked.

"I was thinking about check-raising, but you're Benny Glaser. Anyone else I check-raise," Dirksen added.
