Daniel Negreanu

Ian Johns opened from the cutoff, Daniel Negreanu three-bet from the button, Johns four-bet from the cutoff and Negreanu, who had started the hand with 8,500, called off to put himself at risk.

Both players drew one for the first draw and then stood pat for the second draw. For the final draw Johns broke his hand and drew one while Negreanu stood pat again.

Daniel Negreanu: 7x6x5x4x2x All in
Ian Johns: 7x6x3x2x

Negreanu had drew into a monster after the first draw and needed to fade only a five or four to win the pot. Johns bricked out on the final draw and Negreanu scored a full double up.

Two hands later, Negreanu opened from the hijack and was called by Brent Hale on the button. Both players drew two.

After the first draw Negreanu bet and Hale called. This time both players drew one.

Negreanu checked after the second draw, Hale bet and Negreanu called. Hale stood pat while Negreanu drew one.

With no draws remaining Negreanu bet and was called by Hale. Negreanu tabled 7x6x4x3x2x for number two to take the pot while Hale was left short-stacked.
