Matt Affleck

Kia Raisdana opened the hijack and Matt Affleck three-bet from the cutoff to 220,000. Ruiko Mamiya was on the button and four-bet to 450,000, and Raisdana folded. Affleck took his time before he announced that he was all in for around 1,300,000, and Mamiya snap-called.

Matt Affleck: AK All in
Ruiko Mamiya: AA

Nothing changed after the dealer ran a board of 2567Q which meant Affleck was eliminated, and Mamiya added yet more chips to her stack.

Vayssieres Finds a Two-Outer and Eliminates Two Players

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Nicholas Vayssieres
Nicholas Vayssieres

Chi Nguyen shoved all in from early position for around 245,000 and Nicolas Vayssieres called from the hijack. Xuming Qi was in the cutoff and shoved all in for over 300,000, and when it got back to Vayssieres, he called.

Chi Nguyen: A5 All in
Xuming Qi: AA All in
Nicolas Vayssieres: JJ

Qi had a perfect spot to almost triple his stack but was left with just one out after the 10J10 flop as Vayssieres hit a boat. No miracle one-outer arrived as neither the 8 turn nor 3 river offered any help to Qi, which meant he and Nguyen were eliminated.

Hellmuth Eliminated

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth raised to 70,000 from the hijack and Ruiko Mamiya called from the big blind.

They both saw a flop of J55 which Mamiya checked, Hellmuth bet 50,000, and Mamiya called.

The 7 turn was checked through to the Q river. Mamiya announced that she was all in, and Hellmuth had a decision for his remaining 115,000 chips.

"What do you have?" asked Hellmuth.

Eventually, Hellmuth put in the remainder of his stack.

Mamiya quickly tabled Q10 and Hellmuth shot up out of his seat in disgust. After some time looking back at the board and his cards (plus letting out some expletives), Hellmuth mucked his cards face down into the muck. It is not known what Hellmuth had but the A was spotted as he was standing and looking at his hole cards, the other remains a mystery.
