Day 2 of Event #28: $1,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em is set to resume at 11 a.m. local time here at the Horseshoe Las Vegas. Of the 2,319 runners who started Day 1, only 215 players will return, all of whom have already made the money. The event generated a prize pool of $3,095,865, with $412,484 going to the winner, along with the coveted gold bracelet.

The chip leader heading into the start of Day 2 is Brian Barker, who is on the hunt for his first WSOP bracelet. Other notable players that are also eyeing their first piece of gold are Fausto Valdez, Jon Turner, Ebony Kenney, and Matt Affleck.

Several bracelet winners are returning for Day 2, hoping to add another to their collections. Those names include Nick Maimone (830,000), John Riordan (755,000), Rafael Reis (351,000), Tristan Wade (305,000), Kathy Liebert (305,000), Michael Moncek (288,000), Tyler Denson (261,000), Michael Noori (232,000), and Phill Hellmuth (207,000), to name a few.

Action will begin on Day 2 with blinds at 5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 big blind ante. Ten 60-minute levels will be played today, with 15-minute breaks every two levels. A one-hour dinner break will take place after Level 23 at approximately 5:30 p.m. local time. Those who make it through Day 2 will return for Day 3 on Wednesday, June 12, where a winner will be crowned.
