A Lesson in Fold Equity

Level 20 : Limits 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Dale Sanole limped the button. In the small blind, Michael Noori raised and Sanole called.

Noori drew one while Sanole drew three and called a bet from Noori.

Both players took one on the second and Sanole called another bet from Noori.

On the final draw, Noori stood pat and Sanole drew one. Noori bet his last 3,000 into a pot of 110,000. Sanole bricked and mucked his hand after some deliberation.

"That would have been a ridiculous bluff," remarked one of their tablemates.
