They will then be sent on a 30-minute break. When they return, the final table will be broadcast on PokerGO, with the stream kicking off around 6 p.m. local time.
Brek Schutten took a nice sized pot of Chongxian Yang the hand before to recoup some last chips. He remained active the hand after, opening to 320,000 from the hijack. Taylor von Kriegenbergh called from the big blind.
Action checked through to the river for the final board to show 8♥2♣4♣9♠A♥.
Von Kriegenbergh bet 300,000 and was called. Von Kriegenbergh tabled Jx8x for a pair of eights, but Schutten rivered an ace with his Ax5x.
Stoyan Madanzhiev completed in the small blind and Tyler Stafman raised to 360,000 in the big blind. Madanzhiev called.
Madanzhiev checked on the flop of 6♦Q♥5♣ and Stafman continued for 300,000. Madanzhiev check-raised to 950,000, which Stafman responded to by three-bet jamming to bring a quick fold from Madanzhiev.
Not long after, Michael Rocco opened to 320,000 in the cutoff and Madanzhiev three-bet to 2,000,000 on the button with less than a big blind behind. Rocco four-bet jammed and Madanzhiev called after running down the clock a bit.
Stoyan Madanzhiev: A♦9♦
Michael Rocco: K♣Q♣
The flop of 3♣4♦7♠ kept Madanzhiev ahead with ace-high, but the board finished out 9♣J♣ to give Rocco a runner-runner flush as Madanzhiev was eliminated.
In a heads-up pot on a flop of 5♠7♥7♠, Tyler Stafman checked in the small blind and Ognyan Dimov bet 120,000 in the hijack. Stafman check-raised to 335,000. Dimov called.
Stafman bet 300,000 on the 9♠ turn and Dimov again called. Stafman then checked on the 4♥ river and Dimov checked back.
Stafman showed a pair of fives with 10♥5♥, but it was no good against the overpair of his opponent with K♦K♠.
