The traditional World Series of Poker Day 2 event kicks off today at 1 p.m. with Event #2: $500 Casino Employees No-Limit Hold’em concluding at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

Several chip leaders emerged at the end of the night, including Caleb O’Donnell (583,000) from Canada, Bryan Lapham (529,000) from the United States and Juan Carlos Latuff (479,000) from Venezuela. Also hailing from the United States are Jonathan Sanchez (468,000) and Johnathan Sinclair (468,000) who bagged decent stacks at the end of Day 1.

Among the eliminated players were former event champion and PokerNews' own Chad Holloway, Poker Power Ambassador Kyna England, and poker celebrity Jesse Fullen, to name just a few.

Returning players are guaranteed a minimum cash prize of $1,002, with the top prize being $79,134 and the coveted gold bracelet.

The action begins at 1 p.m. in the Horseshoe Red section with fifteen-minute breaks every three levels. A sixty-minute dinner break is scheduled after Level 26 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Level 16 will be in effect with blinds at 3,000/6,000, a big blind ante of 6,000, and 26 minutes remaining.
