Lamb made the call to see the 4♦ river roll off. Martinelli announced a pot-sized bet of 154,000 and a quick call followed from Lamb.

Martinelli showed A♣Q♦8♥2♣ for the nut low and a pair of eights. Lamb tabled A♠J♥5♠2♥ for the same low but a better pair, and was thus awarded three quarters of the pot.
