Shak drew two cards while Matusow decided to keep the five he was dealt. Matusow then bet before the second and final draw, staying pat the whole way.
Shak check-called and drew one card both times. After the final draw, Shak checked once more and Matusow fired in another bet. Shak quickly let his hand go, whereafter Matusow showed 7♣5♣3♥2♠A♦ for a seven-low and the second-best badugi.
