Brumpacheco Takes a Massive Pot From Herz

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Scott Herz and Joseph Brumpacheco played a massive pot of 5,400,000 chips.

On the turn, the board read 7J109. According to the players, the flop got checked around and all the money went in on the turn. Anthony Marquez was in the big blind and led out for 130,000, which Herz raised to 475,000. Brumpacheco then went all in for over 2,800,000 total. Marquez folded and Herz called.

Scott Herz: 88

Brumpacheco’s nut flush was crushing Herz’s straight, but Herz still had two outs to a straight flush. The river was the 4, however, and the big pot went to Brumpacheco.

Herz was left with fever than three big blinds, but has since managed to double up through Anthony Marquez.
