The 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) kicked off back on May 30, and now bracelet winners are being minted every day. Among those to play big hands were Poker Hall of Famer Erik Seidel, Thomas Eychenne, Shannon Fahey, and Robert Williamson III. There were some truly bad beats in big spots that you don't want to miss.

Preflop action began with "Congrats4u" raising to 160 from early position. "Borachinhak2" called from the cutoff before Alex "OrcinusOrca" Foxen reraised to 730 from the button. Both of his opponents made the call, and action went three ways to the flop.

Action checked to Foxen on the 1022 flop, and he led out for 600. Only "Borachinhak2" came along.

The turn brought the Q, and action again checked to Foxen. This time, his 3,090-chip bet was not called, awarding him the pot.

The flop came 794, and both players checked. The 10 saw action checked to "Kevinbnee," who bet 182 and was called.

The river brought the 5, putting a potential flush on the board in addition to multiple possible straights. Donapati check-called again to the tune of 425, but it was "Kevinbnee" taking down the pot after showing J10 for top pair.
