Harsheel Kothari shoved from under the gun for 4,000,000 and action folded around to Daniel Scroggins in the big blind. Scroggins counted out his chips before he tossed in a call to put Kothari at risk.

Pateychuk Makes the Right Call to Double Through Vampan

Andrey Pateychuk completed in the small blind and Daniel Vampan checked his option in the big blind.

Pateychuk bet 300,000 on the 2♥5♦Q♥ flop and Vampan called. Pateychuk then sized up to 1,500,000 on the 4♣ turn and Vampan responded by raising all in. Pateychuk called off with the effective stack of 6,500,000.

Pateychuk arguably made the right call with top pair but there were plenty of cards he needed to dodge as Vampan had bottom pair and an open-ended straight draw.

"Pair the board!" someone at the table joked ambiguously.

The river brought the 8♥ and Pateychuk's queens held up to secure the double-up.

Juan Maceiras Lapido opened to 600,000 from early position and the action folded to big blind Mark Teltscher, who made the call. The two saw a flop of 3♦9♦8♣ and Teltscher checked to Maceiras Lapido, who made a continuation-bet of 800,000. Teltscher then thought for a bit before going all in for around 5,000,000 chips and Maceiras Lapido snap-called.

Aguilera Gets Paid on the River in Massive Pot

Jose Aguilera raised to 650,000 from the cutoff before Daniel Weinman three-bet to 2,000,000 on the button. The blinds both folded, and Aguilera called.

The flop came 2♦7♦8♠ and Aguilera checked to Weinman, who continued for 2,500,000. Aguilera called and both players checked the 9♠ turn.

Aguilera led out for 5,600,000 on the 6♥ river and Weinman spent nearly two minutes in the tank before putting in a call. Aguilera had 5x5x and Weinman mucked as Aguilera's rivered straight gave him the massive pot.

"I have spades. Spades work," Hawkins said, already standing up with his backpack around his shoulders, heading to the 9♣9♠8♥ flop.

"That's not going to do it," he added. "I don't think i can win. Oh, yes I can, ten-seven."

"Nine-nine for a chop," a tablemate offered.

"Nah, nah, nah. It's easier to get ten-seven," Hawkins replied as the 8♠ fell on the turn, leaving him drawing dead.

"That's not going to do it. Why can't you have ace-king, my guy?" Hawkins asked Ghio after hitting the J♠ on the river that wasn't enough for the WSOP Circuit ring king, who instead hit the rail in 35th place.
