Zakhem Eliminated in Set-Over-Set Situation

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

On a flop of A45, Nicolas Zakhem raised all in for roughly 75,000 over a bet from his opponent. The player snap called and the cards were tabled.

Nicolas Zakhem: 4x4x
Opponent: AA

The flop had given both players a set, but Zakhem was the one drawing very slim for his tournament life. The last remaining four did not appear on the 68 runout and his opponent's set of aces held up to spell the end for the chairman of the Botswana Football League.
