Former chip leader Julio Belluscio got involved in another pot on Day 3 of the Main Event. A board of 5♣9♦2♠2♦ was fanned out, with around 55,000 chips in the middle.
Belluscio checked from the big blind after which Michael Tweedlie made an overbet of 80,000 from early position. A third player quickly got out of the way before Belluscio confirmed the amount and made the call.
The Q♥ river then fell and Belluscio checked to Tweedlie. Tweedlie would make another massive bet when he shoved all in for 329,500 chips, a stack worth more than the current average.
Belluscio went over his options for a few minutes before ultimately sticking in the call. Tweedlie showed down 5♥5♦ for fives full of deuces, and Belluscio was forced to show his Q♠9♣ for two pair.
Belluscio had over one million not too long ago, but now is playing a stack worth just over 100,000 chips in the third level of Day 3.
