Gonzalez Runs Into a Full House

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

"This is a big pot," Drew "BetOnDrew" Gonzalez said as he was faced with a bet of 8,600 from Richard Hasnip on a board of 56QQ5 and around 30,000 already in the middle.

"I'm going to need a little more. I'm almost there," Gonzalez said as several minutes went off the clock. He eventually removed his Yoda card protector, looked back at his cards, then slammed in a call.

Hasnip showed him 66 for a full house and Gonzalez mucked, seeing nearly half his stack slid across the table.

Vincent Iannuzzi and Shyam Ravindran are both seated at this table in the record-setting Main Event, both having also played in 2006. "I think it's a cool story," Iannuzzi said.

Oganyan Turns Trips

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Aram Oganyan raised 500 in the hijack and Paul Brar called next to act before Michael Pepe did the same on the button.

The dealer fanned a flop of K86 and all three players checked to see the 8 on the turn.

Oganyan checked to Brar who dropped a bet of 1,000 across the line, and both Pepe and Oganyan called.

When the 7 completed the board, all three players tapped the table. Oganyan was first to show and tabled A8 for trip eights.

"Wow, you just turned trips like that eh!" Joked Brar as he mucked his hand.

Pepe also mucked and Oganyan dragged the pot.
