Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

In a heads-up pot, the flop read 1099 and Dan Heimiller led out for 1,100 into the pot of 1,900. Jesse Sylvia made the call.

The K hit the turn, Heimiller snap-checked, and Sylvia checked back after a short pause.

A player opened to 700 from middle position and was three-bet to 2,000 by Ren Lin in the cutoff. The player in the big blind called cold and the initial raiser folded.

The big blind checked-called a 2,000 bet from Lin on the 1082 flop and then both player checked down on the 4 turn and 2 river.

Marsico Shows the Winner

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

A player in early position limped before Mike Marsico raised from late position. The player in the cutoff called as did the initial early position limper, leading to a KJ7 flop.

The player in early position checked and Marsico threw out a bet of 1,200. The cutoff got out of the way but the early position player decided on a check-raise to 2,400.

Marsico called the min-raise three-bet and both players watched the dealer put the K out on the turn.

Action checked through to the 8 river and action checked through once again, taking both players to showdown.

The early position player tabled the Q7 before seeing Marsico show the QJ to take the pot down with a superior two pair.

Weinman Avoids Clinkscales Disaster

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Action was picked up on the turn in a hand between Weinman in the hijack and Rex Clinksclaes in the small blind.

The board read 51082 and Clinkscales bet 1,500 and Weinman called.

The river came the 4 and Clinkscales sized up to 5,000 and Weinman scrunched his eyebrows as he pondered his decision. He tossed in the call and Clinkscales turned over A7 for the nut flush. Weinman smiled as he showed J8 for a worse flush and he joked "that could have gotten a lot worse."
