Jam Turn, Snap Call

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action was picked up on a flop of 786. Serge Chechin led into the field for 1,700. It then made it to the button and Alok Arora min-clicked it to 3,400. The remaining players folded and Chechin called.

The turn brought a Q and Chechin checked it over to Arora who put out a bet of 5,400. Chechin thought it over for about a minute before stacking his chips and putting them all in the middle. Arora snap called.

Serge Chechin: 109
Alok Arora: 109

They both laughed as the inconsequential river landed and they chopped it up after some drama.

Maue Sends A Player In The Rail

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

After an open to 1,500 by a player in middle position called by the cutoff, 2023 EPT Monte-Carlo runner-up Leonard Maue three-bet to 7,200 from the big blind. But the initial raiser decided to four-bet all-in for 36,000. The cutoff folded, and Maue called.

Opponent: AJ
Leonard Maue: QQ

Maue's opponent, at risk, hoped until the end to win this coin flip. But on 289102, Maue's queens held, and he took the pot.

Gkatzas Mucks On The River

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

After an open in early position, Dimitros Gkatzas raised to 4,000 from middle position and was called by the player seated on his left. The initial opener folded.

On the 834 flop, Gkatzas continued with a bet of 4,000, and his neighbor called. The J came on the turn, and both players checked.

The river card was the 2, and Gkatzas added 8,500 to the pot. His opponent called, but Gkatzas didn't even show his cards, as he directly sent them into the muck.

After several players limped for 600, Andy Black raised it up to 3,600 and was called by Kamran Malekpour to see the flop of 583.

Black then continued by moving all in for his remaining 13,600 which Malekpour called to put him at risk of elimination.

Jimmy D Spins it Up

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Jimmy D'Ambrosio - Alex Foxen
Jimmy D'Ambrosio - Alex Foxen

An orbit of hands was relayed by Jimmy D'Ambrosio to PokerNews describing how he spun his stack up from a dangerously low 2,400, to his current count of 31,000.

In the first hand, D'Ambrosio doubled up when his A9 held against his opponents J9. "The board ran out clean on that one," commented D'Ambrosio

D'Ambrosio would double again in a come-from-behind victory when he shoved QJ and was called by AQ. The final board ran out XXXXX and the back-door flush brought the count up to 13,500 at this point.

In the final hand before the last break, D'Ambrosio would get another double when his AJ won a flip against the pocket nines of his opponent on a board that read QxJx4x5xKx.

"Make sure you use a good picture of me," mentioned D'Ambrosio.
