Prydryk Gets Back to Winning Ways
The double up of Joe Ghio proved to be only a short-lived hiatus in Ruslan Prydryk's relentless accumulation of chips.
Prydryk raised to 1,000,000 from the cutoff and Dean Hutchison called on the button. The flop came 4♣Q♦10♣ and Prydryk continued for 1,500,000.
Hutchison called to the 6♥ turn where Prydryk fired out another 2,000,000. Hutchison folded this time and Prydryk raked in the pot.
But that was only a small pot compared to the next one Prydryk played, this time against Joshua Payne. Prydryk again raised to 1,000,000 and Payne defended his big blind.
The flop came K♥J♦Q♣ and Prydryk bet 1,000,000 again. Payne called and checked the 7♦ turn before Prydryk tossed out 3,500,000.
Payne called again to the 2♥ river, where he faced a bet of 5,500,000. Payne gave it some thought before calling as Prydryk showed J♣J♥ for a flopped set to take another pot.
