Jones Wins Healthy Pot Off Das

Level 34 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Steven Jones
Steven Jones

Steven Jones made it 1,000,000 to go from the hijack and Ryan Tamanini called in the big blind, then check-folded the AQ2 flop to a bet worth 800,000.

One hand later, Jones raised to 1,100,000 first to act for Adam Walton in the hijack and Anirban Das in the cutoff to call. Jones continued for 2,000,000 on the K73 flop. Walton took a sip from his coffee and then opted to fold while Das quickly called.

Another bet by Jones came on the 4 turn, this time for 4,500,000, and Das called once more.

Last but not least, Jones bet the 3 river for 8,000,000 and Das took around one minute to call. Jones tabled his AK for kings and treys with the ace kicker and that won the pot, as he vaulted out of his chair to flex his muscles to friends on the rail.
