Seymour's Queens Hold Up

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Richard Seymour
Richard Seymour

Richard Seymour raised to 35,000 in early position and picked up three callers along the way. The flop came J98 and the action checked around to the 8 on the turn.

The blinds checked again and Seymour tossed in a bet of 70,000. Juan Maceiras Lapido raised to 220,000 on his left and Seymour called. The river was the A and Seymour checked this time. Maceiras Lapido thought for a minute and then checked it back. Seymour tabled QQ and Maceiras Lapido couldn't beat it.

"I needed that one man," Seymour said as he collected the pot. "I don't know if I was calling."
