Barakat Doesn't Show
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
On the same day his father, Robert "The Razzman" Massman, finished 11th in the $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Event, Alex Massman won a satellite to play in the Main Event. Now here he was on Day 2, riding a starting stack and tangled up in a hand with Youness Barakat.
Barakat bet 1,500 from late position on a K♠K♦2♠ flop, and Massman and an early position player called.
When the turn came 5♣, Barakat bumped it up to 12,400, too rich for either and took down the pot.
"You have to tell them (PokerNews) what you had," Massman told Barakat. "It's the rules." But Barakat did not oblige.
