Both players checked and watched as the dealer put the 2♠ out on the turn.
The early position player checked and Slanicka bet out 2,500. His opponent called and the dealer put the 5♦ out on the river.
Action checked through to showdown and Slanicka turned up the A♣Q♦ which was best versus the A♠10♣ of his opponent.
Slanicka made mention that he had been as low as 4,000 chip earlier in Day 1 and has battled back to a stack over 30,000 which he said, "Feels like a million".
