Michael Monroig raised from the button to 800 and the player in the small blind three-bet to 2,200 and Monroig made the call.
The flop came down 7♠6♠Q♠ and the small blind placed a continuation bet of 3,500 and Monroig called.
The turn 6♦ prompted a check from the small blind and Monroig seized his chance and placed a bet of 4,200 which was quickly called.
Both players checked the river 10♦ and the small blind stated, "two pair", and tabled 8♠8♦. Monroig showed his cards J♦J♥ for the better two pair.
The small blind said, " You made a good bet on the turn".
