Delmas Ditches his Aces
After an open from Adrien Delmas, the hijack three-bet to 3,500, and David Michel on the button just called. Then Delmas put in the four-bet to 10,000, and only Michel made the call as the original three-better got out of the way.
The flop came out 9♦8♦5♥, and Delmas continued for 10,000, and Michel made the call to see the 7♣ on the turn.
Both players then decided to check to the J♦ on the river, and Delmas led out again for 5,000. But then Michel raised him to 25,000, and Delmas went briefly into the tank.
After about 15 seconds, he announced a fold and tossed A♦A♠ into the muck.
"Wow, how many times are you going to fold aces, my friend?" someone at the table asked him, implying he has folded them several times already.
"Every time, I guess," Delmas replied dryly, and then the table began a discussion as to if Michel bluffed him or not, but to no avail.
