One of the biggest pots of the day so far took place at Table 664 between Nicholas Verderamo and Ralph Russo on a board of Q♣4♠2♥9♥9♣.

With around 70,000 already in the middle, Russo pushed out a tower of chips for a bet of 59,000 before covering his face with his hoodie. He stayed in this position for several minutes as Verderamo stretched and considered calling for the vast majority of his stack.

"Take your time, man," said table mate Thomas Torres. "It's a big decision."

Verderamo eventually called and Russo sprung from behind his hoodie to reveal 4♥4♣ for fours full of nines, which was good against the smaller full house of his opponent with 2♦2♣ after both players had flopped sets.
