Harder River Decisions Have Been Had

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Josh Reichard raised from late position to 500,000 and was called by Christian Harder on the button.

Heads up they saw a flop of KQ8 and Reichard continued with a bet of 350,000 and Harder made the call.

The turn was the 6 and both players checked, revealing the 9.

After some thought, Reichard checked again; Harder declared all in. Reichard couldn't have called faster if he tried and Harder showed the A10 but Reichard was lying in the weeds with the KK.

"Someone turn up the A.C. because it's getting hot in here!" shouted Reichard's rail.

Massoud Eskandari: AJ
Marcello Delgrosso: AK

Delgrosso was in good shape to secure the knockout with a dominating ace and remained ahead on the A8QQ2 runout to take the pot down and put an end to Eskandari's deep run.

Yang Zhang Eliminated in 11th Place ($40,393)

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Yang Zhang
Yang Zhang

Yang Zhang went all in and was isolated by a raise from Alex Keating. Keating joked that it was a friendly isolation raise.

Yang Zhang: KJ
Alex Keating: Q7

It was true that Zhang's hand was best preflop but after the wheel spun 762, Keating surged into the lead with top pair and the flush draw. There was no sweat for Zhang as the Q made it so he was drawing dead and the river didn't matter.

Felipe Ketzer moved all in from the button for his last 1,225,000 and Christian Harder made the call in the big blind to put Ketzer at risk.

Felipe Ketzer: J10
Christian Harder: A5

Harder flopped top pair on the AQ7 flop but Ketzer still had some outs in the form of a gutshot straight draw. Those outs never materialized on the 3 turn or 6 river and Ketzer was sent to the rail while Harder collected the last of his chips.
