Nakanishi Scores Double Up
The action was picked up in a four-way pot with 3,000 in the middle on a flop showing A♦J♠9♥. Robert James under the gun, Shota Nakanishi next to act and Chris Brewer in the cutoff all checked to Dylan Weisman on the button who fired out 800. Only James and Nakanishi made the call and the 10♣ hit the turn.
James checked again and Nakanishi took the lead with a bet of 3,800, which only Weisman called. The 6♦ completed the board and Nakanishi moved all in for 11,400. Weisman asked for a count, but eventually tossed in a chip for the call.
Nakanishi tabled K♦Q♠ for the nut-straight and Weisman flashed A♥9♠ before sending his cards to the muck.
Meanwhile, Justin Bonomo sat down with a fresh stack of 20,000 and two add on chips to use when needed.
