The turn K♦ changed nothing, but the river J♣ was a gut punch for Ermin as it gave Nielsen the straight and he was eliminated in third place.

Eric Wasserson moved all in for a little under 700,000 and Ivan Ermin went into the tank.

After around 15 seconds, he made the call to put Wasserson at risk and the cards were tabled.

The flop of 10♥6♣8♠ did not do much for either player, but the 9♦ on the turn gave Wasserson a pair of nines.

"Come on, hold!" Wasserson shouted.

"Jack!" Ermin shouted also, and it seemed the dealer only heard the second request as the river came the J♣ to give him a straight to win the pot, eliminating Wasserson in fourth place.

John Juanda open-shoved under the gun and then Eric Wasserson moved all in behind him for much more. The other players quickly got out of the way and the cards were tabled.

"Uh oh," Juanda chuckled as he realized what he was up against.

The flop came A♣9♠8♣ to give Wasserson top pair, but it also gave Juanda an inside straight draw to a jack.

Unfortunately for him, the board ran out 8♦9♥ and the poker Hall of Famer was eliminated in fifth place. He stood up and shook everyone's hand and wished them the best of luck before he made his way to the payout desk.
