Kalas Chips Up on Mizrachi

Eric Mizrachi raised in the cutoff to 650,000 and after some thought, Kane Kalas called in the big blind.

The flop revealed 2♦Q♣7♠ and Kalas took some time before check-calling Mizrachi for 400,000. Both checked on the 10♣ turn.

The 3♥ completed the board on the river and Kalas led out for 1,000,000. Mizrachi quickly sent his cards into the muck.

Both players checked and the turn came the 7♦.

Both players checked again and the 6♦ fell on the river. Millian decided to bet out for 600,000 and Lee quickly folded.

Kane Kalas started the action with a raise to 500,000 on the button. Abdul Almagableh called in the big blind and Eric Mizrachi said "Ouh la la" before looking at his cards and shoving for 3,370,000. Kalas announced the call and Almagableh let it go:

The board didn't bring any bad surprise to Mizrachi with 4♣A♣8♠6♠3♦ to give him the pot and the double up.

Almagableh Calls Lee's Bluff

Abdul Almagableh bet 500,000 from the cutoff and Kang Hyun Lee called from the big blind.

Lee led out on the monotone board of K♣8♣2♣ for 300,000 which was called by Almagableh. The 2♦ came on the turn and Lee continued for 675,000, again Almagableh called.

The J♠ completed the board and Lee fired the third bullet for 1,350,000. Almagableh cutout calling chips and moved them forward. Lee said "nice hand" and mucked his cards without seeing Almagableh's hand. The pot was awarded to the Jordanian-American who opted not to show his cards.

Mizrachi Likes Kalas' "Bad Hand"

Action folded to Kane Kalas on the button who raised to 500,000. Eric Mizrachi in the small blind verified the amount before moving all 1,685,000 of his chips into the middle.

"I don't have a good hand", Kalas said.

"I like that", responded Mizrachi.

Kalas seemed to calculate his pot odds and decided to make the call, likely hoping to essentially be flipping against two over cards, but he'd get some bad news when the cards were turned up.

The flop brought the 8♠10♣K♦ which gave Mizrachi a set of tens but Kalas a gut-shot. the board completed with the 6♣ turn and 8♦ river, both safe for Mizrachi as he secured a full double.

The dealer showed a flop 4♦3♥10♦ and Kalas led out for 250,000. Only Almagableh decided to call.

On the 9♣ turn, Kalas sent 750,000 in the middle this time and Almagableh tanked for a minute before folding.
