Cozen Loses It in Two Hands

Level 19

Seven Card Stud

Glenn Cozen: XxXx/5A710/Xx
Calvin Anderson: XxXx/K899/Xx

A few hands after doubling up, Glenn Cozen went heads-up with Calvin Anderson to sixth street where both players checked. Anderson then bet on seventh.

Cozen called and Anderson turned over QJ9 for trip nines to win the pot.

The next hand, Cozen found himself all in against Kevin Gerhart and Joseph Kupresanin after Gerhart completed, Kupresanin raised, and Cozen called off his last chips.

Joseph Kupresanin: XxXx/K8J7/Xx
Kevin Gerhart: XxXx/Q1093/Xx

Gerhart bet into the side pot on fifth and Kupresanin called. Gerhart bet again on sixth, Kupresanin called, and both players checked on seventh.

Kupresanin opened up KJ6 for kings and jacks which was enough to beat Gerhart and send Cozen, celebrating the 30th anniversary of his runner-up finish in the 1993 Main Event, to the rail.
