Ventura and James Battle on Draw Heavy Board

Level 34 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Jason James
Jason James

Diego Ventura limped in from the small blind and Jason James checked the option.

Ventura checked over to James on the 109J flop and James bet out 400,000, with Ventura making the call.

The 5 fell on the turn, completing the front-door flush draw and prompting a check from both players.

A four card stragiht was completed on the Q river, and Ventura led out for 1,200,000, which was met with a raise from James to 3,000,000. This sent Ventura into the tank.

After some deliberation, Ventura made the fold and with James taking that pot, the chip stacks have come a bit closer to flattening out.
