First Pot For Lewis

Level 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Philip Sternheimer opened from middle position, and everybody folded to Romain Lewis who defended his big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of J109, and both players checked to see the turn 7.

At this point, Lewis took the lead and bet 26,000. Sternheimer called, and the 4 came on the river.

Lewis bet again, but sized it up to 85,000. Sternheimer went in the tank and had to use a time bank before folding. Followed by a TV crew, Lewis took his first pot of the day.

A few hands later, Sternheimer has been eliminated, like Dario Sammartino before him.
