Kniep Takes a Pot, Shows One Card
Level 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Andreas Kniep opened to 3,000 from under the gun, and was called in three spots.
On a flop of K♠K♣4♣, Kniep continued for another 3,000, this time just finding one caller, in the small blind.
A 7♦ on the turn was checked by both players. The river was a 5♠ and Kniep took took the initiative once more, putting out a bet of 16,000, which was enough to take the pot.
When the small blind folded, Kniep offered him the choice to see one of his cards — something the whole table seems to have agreed to do — and the player revealed a J♥.
