Penev on Full Throttle with Aggression

Level 35 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Zlatin Penev has been using his chip stack throughout the final table to his advantage and this has been paying off. This Bulgarian player is no stranger to final tables and has seen his fair share of first place wins and has made some cashes in the 2023 World Series of Poker.

Penev raised from the small blind to 1,500,000 and Samuel Bernabeu called from the big blind. The flop came out 927 and Penev slowed down and checked and Bernabeu came out with a bet of 1,100,000. Penev made the call.

The turn brought the 10 and both players checked.

On the river A Penev returned to his aggression and bet 3,000,000 and Bernabeu made the call. Penev turned over AK for the pair of aces and Bernabeu mucked.
