Penev Bombs River in Huge Pot

Level 35 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of 310J, Zlatin Penev led out for 800,000 and Samuel Bernabeu made the call to see the J appear on the turn.

Penev continued for 3,800,000 and Bernabeu thought for a bit before he made the call once more.

When the J smacked down on the river, Penev bombed the pot with a huge bet of 8,000,000, most of Bernabeu's stack.

Bernabeu went deep into the tank for this one, and after almost five minutes he finally laid it down to award the large pot to Penev, pushing him back into the chip lead.
