Plant Gets Paid

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

On a completed board of QJ89A, there was already around 15,000 in the pot when Ryan Plant bet 12,600 into his heads-up opponent, Girish Reknar.

Reknar thought about it for a short time but then made the call and tabled Q9 for two pair. Unfortunately for him, it was no match for Plant's K10 for a rivered straight to take down the substantial pot.

"I mean I have two pair," Reknar said, throwing up his hands as the chips were pushed to Plant. "I cannot get away."
