Welcome to coverage of Day 2 of Event #77: $777 Lucky 7's No-Limit Hold'em at the 2023 World Series of Poker.
The event here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas received a total of 7,323 entries, generating an unofficial prize pool of $4,991,449. Over the course of three Day 1 flights, that number was whittled down to the 317 players returning to do battle today.
At the head of the pack is Stepan Vinokurov who bagged a sizeable lead at the end of Day 1b. He is closely followed by WSOP ring winner Morgan Petro and two-time bracelet winner Shawn Daniels.
Other notable players who are still in the hunt include David Peters and Alex Livingston as players look to chase WSOP glory by bagging for Day 3.

The tournament will resume today, July 10, at 10 a.m. local time. Blinds will begin at 20,000/40,000 with a 40,000 big blind ante. Play will continue for 17 levels of 40 minutes, or until only five players remain – whichever comes sooner. There will be 15-minute breaks after every 3 levels, plus a 60-minute break after level 31 (approximately 4:30 p.m.)
