McNeil More Than Triples Up

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Calen McNeil raised to 140,000 from under the gun with just 60,000 left behind. John Holley called in middle position and Stephen Deutsch called in the small blind.

The 535 saw Deutsch check before McNeil slid in the rest of his short stack. Holley and Deutsch both called to the J turn, where Deutsch led out for 275,000.

Holley called to the 2 river and was quickly facing a bet of 505,000 from Deutsch. Holley folded, leaving McNeil at risk against Deutsch.

Calen McNeil: AQ85
Stephen Deutsch: AAQ10

McNeil finished with trip fives and the only low, good enough to more than triple his stack while Deutsch took down the side pot.
