Kelsall Gets a Second Life

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Andrew Kelsall opened to 3,000 from early position and was called by Daniel Negreanu on the button. A player in the big blind then three-bet to 12,500 with Kelsall responding by moving all in for 16,200. Negreanu just called as did the big blind to put Kelsall at risk.

The flop came Q43, prompting the big blind to check to Negreanu who potted for 50,100. That got a fold from the big blind and the cards were on their backs.

Andrew Kelsall: A1065
Daniel Negreanu: AQ63

Negreanu was ahead with his pair of queens but Kelsall had a flush draw and managed to hit without a low being put on the board to secure a full triple up and second life in the tournament.
