Wantman Betting Big

Level 21 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Matthew Wantman
Matthew Wantman

Matthew Wantman won three pots right before dinner break thanks to big bets that forced out his opponent.

In the first, five players went to the 966 flop and checked to Wantman on the button who bet 280,000. Jesse Lonis raised to 625,000 in the small blind and the rest of the table got out of the way, but Wantman stuck around with a call.

Lonis slowed down and checked the 3 turn and Wantman took the pot with a bet of 550,000.

Kabeelan Rajamurthy then raised to 400,000 from under the gun before Wantman potted to 1,050,000. Rajamurthy called to see the Q43 flop, where he check-folded to a bet of 1,700,000.

Finally, Wantman took some more off Lonis after he limped in from under the gun, then called when Lonis made it 450,000. Both players checked to the river on a board of 673J2 and Lonis quickly surrendered when Wantman bet 660,000.
