Caviness Does The Unthinkable

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Short-stacked Ryan Caviness moved all in for 110,000 and was called by Web Brown and Mateusz Moolhuizen to put him at risk.

The flop came out K7J and Brown moved all in and Moolhuizen promptly folded to leave the two to fight it out amongst themselves.

Ryan Caviness: AJ
Web Brown: A9

Caviness was ahead with his pair of jacks, but still had to fade the spades of Brown. Luckily for him, the runout came QJ to improve him to trips and he was awarded the pot for the successful triple-up.

"YESS! WE DID IT!!" he shouted to the heavens as his stack increased from two to six big blinds.

Brown then ended up getting it all in the very next hand against Anthony Askui but could not find a double and was eliminated.

Kim Ng

Kim Ng moved all in preflop for around 350,000 and action folded around to Christopher Andler in the big blind who made the call to put her at risk.

Kim Ng: AJ
Christopher Andler: 46

Andler was in bad shape on the 383 flop, but the turn 5 gave him an open-ended straight draw but also gave Ng a flush draw.

Miraculously, the 2 smacked down on the river to give Andler the straight and Ng just stood there in shock as the floor brought her payslip.

"I was bounty hunting!" Andler threw his hands up as if to justify his actions as the pot was pushed his way.
