Linster Doubles Through Goyette

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Mike Linster limped from middle position and Michael Rodrigues limped along from the cutoff. John Goyette then raised to 250,000 on the button and both Linster and Rodrigues called.

Action checked to Goyette on the 692 flop and he continued for a 330,000 bet. Both players called.

Linster shoved for 1,400,000 on the Q turn, which got a fold from Rodrigues, but a call from Goyette to put Linster at risk.

Mike Linster: AQ42
John Goyette: AK103

The A completed the board, bricking Goyette's flush and straight draws and improving Linster to aces and queens for the full double up.

Goyette Folds to Kopp's Pressure

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

William Kopp opened to 250,000 from the cutoff and John Goyette three-bet to 830,000 from the small blind. Kopp called.

Kopp called a 630,000 bet from Goyette on the J52 flop and then both players checked on the 5 turn.

The 6 completed the board and Goyette wagered 885,000. Kopp thought for a bit and then announced a pot-sized raise, which was enough to put Goyette all in.

Goyette went deep into the tank, but eventually found a fold and Kopp took down the pot.

Loni Hui
Loni Hui

After Loni Hui raised to 280,000 from the cutoff, Michael Rodrigues re-potted and Hui committed her entire 1,045,000 chip stack.

Loni Hui: AK63
Michael Rodrigues: AKQ2

The 827 flop gave Hui the nut low, while Rodrigues had a pair of deuces. The 3 however changed everything, as it gave Hui a better pair of threes, while her ace-six was also still in play for the low.

The 8 hit neither player and Hui doubled with her pair of threes and ace-six low.
