More Chips for "Lady Gaga"

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ren Lin raised to 2,700 on the button and the big blind called. The flop fell Q104 and the big blind check-called a bet of 2,500 from Lin.

The turn brought the 8 and the big blind checked again. Lin put together a bet of 8,500 and his opponent still called. The river was the Q and the big blind checked once more. Lin reached back for a bet of 36,500 and his opponent quickly folded.

Lin's opponent got to choose a card and flipped over the Q which got ooh's and aah's from the table. "Lady gaga!" Lin laughed.

The Chad & Jesse Poker Show: Ali Imsirovic Video About Cheating Allegations; Guest Masato Yokosawa

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On the latest The Chad & Jesse Poker Show[/I][/B] straight from the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Chad Holloway and Jesse Fullen discuss Ali Imsirovic's video addressing the cheating allegations against him.

They are joined by renowned Japanese vlogger Masato Yokosawa, AKA “World Wide Yokosawa.” While players in the United States might think folks like Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme has the biggest vlog followings in the world, that distinction actually belongs to Masato, who regularly clears 600K views on each of his vlogs!

The Japanese vlogging sensation opens up about his start in poker, what inspired him to start a vlog, and how he’s managed to turn it into a smashing success with the help of a creative team. He also talks about his desire to win a WSOP gold bracelet, how Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth are perceived in his home country, and what the future looks like for poker in Japan.

Barstool Nate Goes For Five

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Evgenii Fidchuk raised to 2,500 under the gun, was called by Maria Ho on his left, and when it folded to Eric "Barstool Nate" in the big blind, he also made the call.

Three ways, they saw the 4J10; they all tapped the table and Fidchuk checked the 4 on the turn. Maria Ho went for a bet of 4,000 which was called by Nathan and Fidchuk.

The river brought the 5s and everyone tapped the table again. Nathan turned over 74 for the turned trips, saying, "You don't have to write that one down...", as his opponents' hands hit the muck.

The very next hand, Nathan raised the button to 2,100, Fichuk raised him to 8,000 from the small blind and Nathan came back with a raise to 18,000 that garnered him a fold.

Nathan drove the action preflop yet again, but ended up checking down heads up and winning the pot with ace high.

He won one more pot uncontested after that, then raised yet again before the flop but was three bet by his opponent in late position. Yet again they checked it down, but they both showed ace-queen high to chop the pot, making it five hands in a row that Nathan didn't lose a pot.

Selbst Finds a Favorable River

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

A completed board of 74264 was spread across the table with Vanessa Selbst and Kazuhiko Yotsushika heads-up. Selbst checked to Yotsushika who tossed in a bet of 25,000 into a pot of around 35,000. Selbst instantly called and Yotsushika tabled 76 for two pair. Selbst showed JJ for a better two pair as the river paired the board.

Yotsushika thought he won the pot at first until he realized that there was a pair on the board.

"I was just hoping you were bluffing but I guess you were value-betting," Selbst noted about Yotsushika's misread.

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

There was a limp from under the gun and Espen Jorstad raised to 6,000 on the button. Koray Aldemir flicked in the last of his 4,000 chips from the big blind and the player under the gun made it 18,000 to go. Jorstad called which created a side pot going to the 642 flop.

Jorstad was faced with a bet of 14,000 and he called to see the 6 on the turn. His opponent jammed all in on the turn and Jorstad dumped his cards into the muck.

Koray Aldemir: 83
Opponent: QQ

The river was the 5 and Aldemir made a straight to triple up and stay alive.

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Ethan "Rampage" Yau
Ethan "Rampage" Yau

Heads up to a flop of K94, an opponent checked to Ethan "Rampage" Yau, prompting him to bet 2,000.

His opponent called and the turn peeled the 4 and first to act checked again. This time Yau sized up to 10,000 and his opponent did fold.

Yau has mostly been keeping to himself as he grinds away and builds up his stack.
