Jeremy Ausmus and Alex Foxen went heads to a pot, blind versus blind with the dealer sitting between them.

Together they saw the 926. Foxen tapped the table and Ausmus placed a bet of 4,000. Rather quickly, Foxen raised it up to 11,000 and Ausmus released his hand into the muck.

One table over, Nick Schulman was seen sitting down with a fresh stack.

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Ren Lin
Ren Lin

Ren Lin was just seen raking in a sizeable pot and the table has agreed that the winner must show one card. Lin let his opponent choose a card this time which got a reaction from everyone.

"Cooler! Cooler," Lin continued as the next hand was being dealt.

On the next hand, the button raised to 2,000 and Lin three-bet to 8,000 from the small blind. The big blind four-bet to 28,500 and both the button and Lin folded. Lin picked a card and it was the Q that was shown this time.

"You bluff too much!" Lin continued with some table chat. "This table is fun table."

Nemeth Gets Pipped

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There was a raise from the hijack and the cutoff three-bet to 7,200. Andras Nemeth was on the button and shipped all in for 27,500. The hijack reshoved all in for slightly more and the cutoff opted to fold.

Andras Nemeth: JJ
Opponent: QQ

Nemeth was in need of a jack in order to stay alive and the flop of 10102 provided no help. The 7 and 3 runout changed nothing and Nemeth was bounced from the tournament.

Panetti Puts The Gas On

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Leon Sturm had three bet Christophe Panetti to 7,100 before Panetti pushed it up to 20,000. After a quick think, Sturm folded.

The very next hand, a player in late position raised and Panetti called in the big blind. Heads up, they saw the AQ10 spread. Panetti started with a check and his opponent threw out two yellow chips, wagering 2,000.

Panetti responded with a raise to 6,500 and his opponent reraised to 16,000 which Panetti called. Finally, they saw the turned J. Panetti checked and called when his opponent bet 12,500.

The river was the 7 and this time Panetti took the initiative, declaring himself all in and his opponent threw his hand in the muck. Panetti chipped up significantly over a matter of just two hands, neither of which went to showdown.
