Punsri Punishes Garvin

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Punnat Punsri
Punnat Punsri

Punnat Punsri opened to 16,000 from the button and received a call from Garrett Garvin in the big blind.

The flop came Q68 and Garvin check-called an 11,000 bet from Punsri.

Garvin checked again on the 3 turn and Punsri fired a roghly pot-sized bet of 66,000. Garvin made the call.

The river was the 10 and Punsri moved all in for approximately 200,000. Garvin went deep into the tank for approximately four minutes before making the call.

Punsri showed A4 for the nut-flush to take down a colossal pot and leave Garvin short-stacked.

A few hands later, Garvin got the last of his chips in preflop against Barry Hutter who had a covering stack.

Garrett Garvin: A8
Barry Hutter: KQ

Garvin got up from his seat on the K7J flop. He found no improvement on the 5 turn or 6 river and was eliminated from the tournament while Hutter collected the last of his chips.
