Left before the dinner break with less than one million chips, Gaetan Balleur now has twice that amount. According to him, he opened Ax9x offsuit, and Milan Timko called in the big blind.
"On the flop came 7x8x10x with two spades, along with a brick on the turn," the Frenchman added. Both times, the two players checked.
"Then on the river, Jx, Timko bet 400,000. I raised all in for 1,100,000 chips with a straight, and Timko snap-called with A♠K♠," concluded Balleur, still a bit surprised by the way he doubled his stack.
